Lonnie, Joy, & Autumn Sanders

One of Autumn's favorite things is balloons, so it is very fitting that they gave us this beautiful material. I love all the colors. When we asked the Sanders to be the boys Godparents over 10 years ago, who would have thought that God would put us in the paths that He did. Andy & I knew from before our marriage that we would adopt, we just didn't know the details. I will never forget the night they came over to our house. They just HAD to see us before I left for Thailand on that fateful mission trip. They gave me a special gift & even more importantly that's when they announced to us that they were adopting from China. God then worked on my heart while in Thailand. Dr. Maurice told me I would fall in love with the Chinese people, but I don't think I realized how true his words were until a year later.
Now, all these years later Hannah Grace will have a special "Godsister" that she will always look up to.
Thank you for your friendship. We love you all. And we can't wait for our daughters to get to play together.

Susie Ross

This flower print was given to me by Susie, a good friend from work. She & I have a lot in common. The first & foremost is that we are very picky eaters, which was discovered while on a trip for our work. Since that time she is one of my favorite people to see up at the church. I love going by her office when I get a chance. She always has a smile on her face & she always has a way of bringing joy to all of us. And when she speaks - I listen. She isn't one to just talk for the sake of talking. So her wishes & advice are a blessing to me.
I can't wait for HG to meet you. She is going to love coming to your office for a daily dose of candy & funny pictures. ;0) Girl, I love ya.

The Porter's

This cute snoopy print came from a fellow Bethany family. You don't have to worry about the giggles, we plan on making that a reality for Hannah Grace. Thanks for swapping with us.

Jill Taylor

These beautiful swatches came from a wonderful lady that I had the honor of working with. She taught Spanish for our kids at MDO. She is a Godly, christian woman that I admire very much. I so appreciate her generosity with all the material. It's going to look great in the quilt. Thanks girl. Gracias!

Don & Pat Morris (aka grandma & papa)

Grandma gave us these swatches. She still has to give us her wish which I know will just be perfect. But she wanted us to go ahead & have the material. They all came from sewing that she did. I believe Andy's nursery, Andy's big boy room, & then the red is from when she made my boys' curtains. I will update when I find out for sure. She is so good. I don't even think to keep stuff like that. Glad we've got her to keep us together. ;0) Thanks - we love them.

The Davidson's from Washington

This beautiful swatch came from my secret pal. I love the beautiful little girls. So sweet. I received many precious thoughts & wishes from the Davidson's during our year of secret pals. I have kept all the cards that they sent with all the gifts. I imagine I will put them with the scrapbook. But I love the quote from E E Cummings. Prayerfully, we will instill within HG all the courage she needs to become the person that God has for her to become. Thanks again.

WELCOME

Welcome to Hannah Grace's blog devoted to her 100 wishes quilt. If you look to the left side you can see what it's all about. We would be honored if you would like to help welcome our daughter into our family. I hope to keep you up to date on the progress of the quilt. I am just now getting started & I expect this to take quite a while. If you feel led to share in our daughter's life, please email us for info on how to send a swatch & wish. We know someday Hannah Grace will look back on all this and realize just how much she was loved even before we met.
